TEFL Jobs in Africa

Africa offers a huge variety of countries, experiences and TEFL jobs, ripe for exploring. North Africa, where the tourist centres of Egypt, Tunisia and Morocco attract many English speaking visitors, usually offer the most vacancies. Many countries such as Rwanda are trying to improve their economies through international trade and the learning of English is of vital importance to this. Voluntary schemes are common in countries like Kenya or Sudan, where learning English can be a step out of poverty for students whose employment prospects are completely changed by your lessons. While the TEFL industry in Africa is not as developed as on other continents, there are still plenty of opportunities available for those prepared to look.
